Cookies

Cookie types, durations, and controls for the RidgeBase Service website, including essential and optional analytics cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar storage such as localStorage may be used for preferences.

How we use them

RidgeBase Service uses essential cookies and storage to keep basic site functions working, and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them in the consent banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, forms, or content.

Essential items support security and consent memory. Analytics items help us understand which field notes and engagement pages are useful; they are not used for advertising profiles.

Managing cookies

Use the banner’s Accept or Reject controls on first visit. Clear site data in your browser to reset the choice and see the banner again. Browser settings can block cookies entirely; essential functions such as remembering consent may then reset on each visit.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP to Google under their terms. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers.

Impact of disabling

Disabling optional analytics simply means we will not record anonymised page views. The site, contact form, and content remain available.
